Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) released the following statement on the passing of Patrick Solano:
“Pat Solano was a patriot and a giant in Pennsylvania politics. For his valiant service in World War II, Pat was awarded two Bronze Stars and numerous other honors. After serving our nation, Pat came home to Pennsylvania where he earned a reputation as a pragmatic public servant. For decades, Pat served as a valued counselor to countless Republicans officials while never shying away from working with anyone who was seeking to better our commonwealth and his beloved northeast Pennsylvania. I extend my condolences to Pat’s wife Marie and their entire family.”
