Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Pat Toomey (R-Pa.), who will be attending President Trump's town hall in Scranton, Pa. tonight, released the following statement about the visit:

"During his time in office, President Trump has not been a stranger to Pennsylvania and I am happy to welcome him again to the commonwealth.

"President Trump has a great story to tell tonight. His policies and priorities have given Pennsylvanians the strongest economy in decades, almost 200 new federal judges that respect the rule of law, and a foreign policy that is based on keeping our country safe and holding hostile governments, like Iran, accountable for their actions.

"I am looking forward to joining President Trump on Air Force One this afternoon and being in the audience at tonight's town hall."
