Toomey Statement on Death of John Biedrzycki

Allentown, Pa. - U.S. Senator Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) issued the following statement on the death of John Biedrzycki, Past Commander-in-Chief of the Veterans of Foreign War (VFW) of the U.S.:

"John Biedrzycki, Jr. was a decorated veteran, who dedicated his life to service of his beloved nation and commonwealth. After serving in the Korean War, John joined the VFW and began decades of involvement and leadership within the organization, eventually rising to the position of Commander-in-Chief. John's work undoubtedly improved the lives of countless veterans. Our nation has lost a hero and I offer my condolences to John's family, friends, and the VFW."
