Toomey Mourns Another Police Officer Killed

Washington D.C. - U. S. Senator Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) issued the following statement regarding the death of a Virginia State Police officer who was shot and killed yesterday at a bus station in Richmond.
"Trooper Chad Dermyer made the ultimate sacrifice to protect us when he was senselessly and brutally murdered. This horrible incident is yet another tragic example of the growing pattern of attacks our law enforcement officers have faced over the past year. Kris and I mourn Trooper Dermyer's death and pray for his wife, two small children, the Virginia State Troopers, and the law enforcement community as a whole."
