Sen. Toomey Statement On Payroll Tax, UI And Keystone Pipeline Vote

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) issued the following statement today on Senate passage of H.R. 3630, which includes a provision on the Keystone XL pipeline:
"Although this bill has a number of significant flaws, on balance, it is worthy of support. The Keystone XL provision, in particular, considerably increases the probability that we will create tens of thousands of American jobs, increase our access to oil from our friend and neighbor Canada, and diminish our dependence on more distant and less secure sources of energy," Sen. Toomey said.
